Big Biz Moves Putin To Give Orders To Premier

President Vladimir Putin received prominent Russian businessmen in the Kremlin today. Conclusions made from the conference will find practical expression in his upcoming orders to Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, said Arkadi Volsky, president of the Russian Industrialists' and Entrepreneurs' Union, as he was addressing newsmen after the conference. He expects the Premier give orders, in his turn, to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and other federal offices. Mr. Volsky did not specify what those practical instructions might concern. He said he had liked the conference immensely, what with President Putin's account of his recent visit to the USA. Arkadi Volsky mentioned a piece of information from Mikhail Kasyanov, which had called his special attention--as the Prime Minister informed the gathering, the North Caucasus accounts for 40 out of Russia's 60 smallest banks.
