BEAR WALKS ABOUT ST. PETERSBURG

A gentle brown bear was spotted in the city streets this morning. Panicking citizens summoned emergency rescuers; however, the creature was quite sweet and peaceful.

The rescuers called the zoo to learn that all its bears were safe at home. The Zoo volunteered to shelter the stray beast. It was given a sleeping injection and taken to the zoo.

If the small bear does not behave as a pet, and its master does not turn up, the bear will be dispatched to the woods near the city.
