The volume of single social tax payments collected by the Russian Tax Ministry last year reached 595.2bn rubles (about $19.47bn), the information policy department of the ministry reported. This is 15.6 per cent more than planned. In particular, the volume of single social tax payments collected in December was 24.6 per cent more than planned. The volume of single social tax payments allocated to the Pension Fund reached 38.96bn rubles ($1.27bn), or 37.3 per cent more than scheduled.
