Russian Prosecutors Honestly Fulfil Their Duty, Vladimir Ustinov Says

On Friday Russian Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov congratulated Russian prosecutors on their professional holiday stressing that they fulfil their duty honestly. The Prosecutor's Day is marked in Russia on January 12. "This institution was of particular importance for 280 years at all the stages of the state's development" since its establishment by tsar-reformer Peter I (the end of the 17th - the beginning of the 18th centuries), Ustinov said. Answering a RIA Novosti question on the most important criminal cases investigated in 2001, Vladimir Ustinov said, "There are no more important or less important cases. All people are equal before law."
