The balance profit of Russian oil company Rosneft amounted to 28.195bn rubles ($926m) in 2001, which is 94 per cent more than in 2000, the company's press service reported. The volume of sales revenues reached 93.019bn rubles ($3.06bn), or 6.1 per cent more than in 2000. In addition, the press service reported that Rosneft invested 17.987bn rubles ($591m) last year, or 8.4 per cent more as compared to the volume of investments made in 2000. In particular, 3.142bn rubles ($103m) were spent on strategic projects.
