The USA found another al-Qaeda video. Washington urges everyone to be on alert

It has become known that the American special services in Afghanistan obtained another al-Qaeda video tape. The US government distributed separate parts of the video, which reportedly shows five senior members of the terrorist organization. The American NBC television company was the first to break the story.

As NBC reported, Washington will call upon all countries of the world to assist in determining the whereabouts of the al-Qaeda leaders. US Attorney General John Ashcroft said in an interview to journalists that “those young people were delivering a message on the tape that looked like the suicide-bombers were urging others to become martyrs.”

For the time being, it is not known where the video was shot, but the identity of the four men has already been identified. BBC informed, the three of them, Abd al-Rahim, Ali Hasan, and Ramzi Binalshibh, were filmed separately. Abd al-Rahim made a speech, actively gesturing with his right hand. The fourth one, Khalid Ibn Muhammad al-Juhani was holding a machine-gun in his hands, kissing it, and smiling at the camera.

The video was reportedly found amid the ruins of the house that belonged to Mohammed Atef, al-Qaeda’s military chief and one of Osama bin Laden’s confidants. Atef was allegedly killed in November 2001 during the air raids in Kabul.

Washington urges everyone to be on the alert. At the same time, one should not panic (after seeing the video). The citizens of different countries were given the addresses of American embassies or told to visit the official site of the FBI.
