North Korea comments of George Bush's State of the Union speech

The USA is conducting the airborne prospecting of North Korea’s territory. The mass media of North Korea reported, the American spy planes made over 150 sorties near the borders of the country within the last month only. The American U-2 spy planes can be seen at the western and northern coastline. The North Korean media also reported, there were military exercises conduced on January 22 at the army bases of South Korea, to train the landing of the troops and the defense technology in the extreme conditions.

As it is known, President Bush made the State of the Union speech on January 29, touching upon the subject of the so-called cast-away countries, and North Korea was one of them: “ Our goal is to prevent regimes that sponsor terror from threatening America or our friends and allies with weapons of mass destruction. Some of these regimes have been pretty quiet since September the 11th. But we know their true nature. North Korea is a regime arming with missiles and weapons of mass destruction, while starving its citizens. Iran aggressively pursues these weapons and exports terror, while an unelected few repress the Iranian people's hope for freedom. Iraq continues to flaunt its hostility toward America and to support terror. The Iraqi regime has plotted to develop anthrax, and nerve gas, and nuclear weapons for over a decade. This is a regime that has already used poison gas to murder thousands of its own citizens -- leaving the bodies of mothers huddled over their dead children. This is a regime that agreed to international inspections -- then kicked out the inspectors. This is a regime that has something to hide from the civilized world,” – Bush said in the address.

Three days after that speech George Bush called upon North Korea to clearly set out its peaceful intentions as far as South Korea is concerned and to stop the arms export. The USA is very seriously concerned about the plans in the field of the mass destruction weapon.

It seems that North Korea has already realized that such statements from the American president were not only the threats. The answer that was given to America was as follows: “Our country will have enough energy to repulse any aggression.”

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il said today that “North Korea will stand the invasion of imperialists,” - AP reported. Kim also said it was totally unfair to list North Korea amid the countries, posing the biggest threat to the world. These are the first comments from the North Korean leader after Bush’s address to the American nation.
