Fishing Trawler Runs Ashore Near Avachi Bay

Last night the fishing trawler Gibartai ran ashore at Avachi Bay, near the Pacific coasts, and was forced to give an emergency signal. The Vladivostok Coordinating Centre for Rescue at Sea reported that all the 19 crew members had survived. The accident took place near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a rescue tugboat immediately came to the fishermen's rescue. Now the tugboat is towing the trawler to deep water.
