47 schoolchildren from Chechnya left for Moscow on Tuesday to attend a December 28 New Year celebration in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, the place that houses the country's capital fir tree, reported a source in the Chechen government office. The trip was organised by the office of Viktor Kazantsev, the Russian president's plenipotentiary to the Southern Federal District.
