Russian President Discusses Work Results, Sets New Goals For Federal District Plenipotentiaries

On Friday in the Kremlin Vladimir Putin discussed with his plenipotentiaries in federal districts results of their work in the outgoing year and set goals for 2002. Presidential press secretary Alexei Gromov reports that, among other things, they spoke of problems of delineating powers between the federation, its entities and bodies of municipal power. To Gromov, they also discussed the formation of commissions in federal districts that would "create normal conditions for the development of small business, as well as the monitoring of the process".
