"LENIN’S COLLECTIVE FARM" CHANGES ITS NAME INTO “PUTIN’S CLOSE CORPORATION”

In Parfenovo village (Irkutsk region, Russia) remains of the Soviet epoch are still valid. A red flag still streams over the highest house of the village. A local farmer, a follow of communism, raised it there. The collective farm, called in honour of Vladimir Lenin, was among the communism’s remains till recently. Yesterday, March, 15 the locals of the village made a decision to transform the farm into a Close Corporation, called after Vladimir Putin. It will be noted that the change of the name will scarcely improve the material state of the farm, which is very sad now (the same as in the majority of the farms of the region). But it can bring the fame to the village and its farm.
