Powerful Cyclone Approaches Sakhalin Region

A powerful cyclone coming from Japan and the Primorye region of Russia is approaching the Sakhalin region. This cyclone is accompanied by heavy snow and strong winds. Its speed is about 30 meters per second. Transportation was limited due to wind and snow and sea traffic has been discontinued completely. Air traffic is expected to be closed in the next several hours. All rescue and emergency services have been put on alert.
