Gov't to discuss oil and gas sector development today

At today's meeting the Russian government will consider the main directions of developing the oil and gas sector of the Eastern Siberia and the Far East taking into account the implementation of promising international projects. Energy Minister Igor Yusufov will deliver a report on this issue. The government will also discuss the basic provisions of the tax reform in the period from 2003 to 2005. Moreover, the Cabinet of Ministers is to consider measures aimed at conducting the single tariff policy and a number of other issues.
