Russian and Estonian Businessmen to Discuss Trade Ties in Moscow on February 13

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Estonian Association of Major Entrepreneurs will hold a round-table discussion in Moscow on February 13. The event will discuss the prospects of bilateral trade and industrial links. According to the Russian Union's public relations department, the event will feature over 60 Estonian businessmen, as well as representatives of Russian and Estonian government structures and MPs. The meeting will look at resolving disputes in bilateral trade and economic relations, particularly avoiding double taxation, and will examine relations between the countries and business in the light of Estonia's entry into the WTO and its forthcoming membership of the European Union.

Russia will be represented at the event by managers of meat-processing, cheese, and refrigerated product plants, retail and publishing companies, and also Promstroibank, Rosneftegazstroi, Rosagrosnab, and the Association of Mobile Communications Manufacturers.
