Aeroflot Makes USD 74 Million Profit in 2002

Aeroflot made a net profit of USD 74 million in 2002 according to Russian accounting standards. The airline's press office today revealed that its income in 2002 increased by 3.5% to USD 1.448 billion. In 2002, Aeroflot carried 5.49 million passengers, and 109.9 thousand tonnes of post and freight. The company paid a total of 3.2 billion roubles (USD 100 million) in taxes in 2002.
