Russia Will Make 200 Volga Cars for Iraq in February

In February, Russia will produce 200 Volga cars for Iraq. RIA Novosti was told about it on Monday in the press service of the Gorky Motor Works (GAZ) which produces these popular in Russia sedans.

In September 2001, the Motor Works concluded a contract with the Iraqi Ministry of Trade for delivering 5,000 Volga cars to the country. It is supposed that they would be used as taxis. The cars for Iraq will be additionally equipped with conditioners, an improved system for cooling the engine, electric glass hoists and a device for blocking door locks.
