EU Allocates Moldavia USD 2.3 Million to Develop Healthcare

The European Union today announced that it intends to allocate Moldavia around USD 2.3 million for developing its healthcare system. According to Moldavia's Health Ministry, the money will be used to repair hospitals and open new medical centres in rural areas.

The EU is shortly expected to examine the possibility of sending a large consignment of medicine and modern medical equipment to Chisinau, the Moldavian capital. According to official sources, healthcare in Moldavia is currently undergoing a severe crisis.
