Gazprom chairman Alexei Miller is to pay a working visit to Bulgaria at the beginning of February. This was revealed to Rosbalt's correspondent today by the Bulgarian government's press service.
According to official information, Miller intends to discuss prospects for widening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector with Bulgarian President Georgy Parvanov. Some sources suggest that Gazprom intends to increase its assets in the Balkans by financing local gas transportation projects and creating at least four subsidiaries in Bulgaria.
