Russian President Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to Germany on February 9-10 2003 and will take part in the opening of Russian-German Сultural Forums 2003-2004. According to the president's press office, Mr Putin will also hold talks with German President Johannes Rau and Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

The Russian president will then fly to France.
