Russian and Chinese Frontier Experts Meet in Vladivostok

A meeting of Russian and Chinese experts of frontier service opened on Tuesday in Vladivostok, the administrative center of the Maritime Territory.

As the press center of the Pacific regional department of the Russian Federal Frontier Service reported on Tuesday, during the four-day meeting it is planned to consider the questions of cooperation between the frontier guards of Russia and China.

Special attention will be paid to the exchange of operational and analytical information and to the joint fight against the illegal activity of fishing boats in the northwestern sector of the Pacific Ocean and against poaching and smuggling.

At this working meeting of experts the Russian delegation is headed by Deputy Director of the Federal Frontier Service, Vice Admiral Valery Logvinenko, and the Chinese delegation - by Deputy Chief of the Frontier Department of the Public Security Ministry, Major General Sung Chuanliu.
