Algeria: 56 Dead

13 civilians were murdered in an attack on a village in Zabana, while 43 soldiers were killed in an ambush in Teniet El Abed, 430 km. south-east of the capital. Both attacks took place on Saturday night.

In the last decade, around 100,000 people have been killed in religious violence in Algeria, caused by armed Islamic groups.
