Russian government to hold last session of the year

The Russian Government will hold its last session this year on December 26th. The meeting will be dedicated to discussing the development of the gas market.

According to the Department of Government Information, Minister for Economic Development German Gref will present a report at the session.

The session's agenda also includes a discussion dedicated to how plans to develop the country's banking sector are proceeding. First Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Ulyukayev will report on the matter.

Government members will also consider a bill "On the bases of state regulation of foreign trade activity." Apart from this, the Cabinet will also discuss a complex plan of actions for defensive facilities and the safeguarding of water supply systems in the southern federal district.
