Ice passages across the Amur linked the Amur region with the Chinese province of Heilongjiang

Ice passages across the Amur River have linked the Amur region (the Russian Far East) with the Chinese province of Heilongjiang.

As a RIA Novosti correspondent was told in the press service of the administration of the Amur region, on Wednesday motor traffic opened across the Amur River through the check-point in Blagoveshchensk (Russian Federation) to the Island Big Heihe, and between Blagoveshchensk and the river port of the city of Heihe (China).

Apart from that, passenger motor and freight motor traffic opened through the ice passage across the Amur River between the townships of Dzhalinda (the Russian Federation) and Mohe (China).

A specially set up regional commission will supervise the operation of the ice passages.
