Our Virtual Chronicles

Do you think we would avoid making declarations of love? I love you, the reader (in this case the reader, as well as I, are collective notions). Nevertheless, we tenderly love each other, excuse each other’s mean tricks such as critical letters; we are still devoted to each other, in spite of all problems (and the devotion is confirmed by the precise statistics).

The situation with you, reader, is slightly simpler. I write for you oftener, I do it 24 hours a day. The situation is more complicated with me, as I often get critical letter and very seldom – praises. To tell the truth, readers are more inclined to write critical letters, when they dislike some of our publication and want to express the indignation.

So, this is the end of the preamble. PRAVDA.Ru editorial staff would like to see the faces of its readers and hear their virtual voices. We would like to listen to interesting stories that ever happened in your life and know the things that are important for you. We are looking forward to your pictures, letters and stories – about nothing and about everything at the same time.

We would like it to be not the only letter sent one time. It would be nice to establish a good continuous talk, the kind of talk that people wonderfully understanding each other have.

We suggest the topic for the first conversation of this kind: the New Year holiday. We are already anticipating approaching of the wonderful event, with the smell of fresh Christmas fir trees. And pessimist as usual speak about their dislike of the New Year’s celebration and the desire just to fall asleep on the night of the celebration. Optimists happily exclaim that the New Year holiday is the best, the kindest and the most magic celebration.

We would like to know what was the most memorable New Year celebration in your life. Did any miracles ever happen on this day? How do you plan to celebrate the holiday this year and what is the regular way you celebrate the holiday? Do our readers in Australia celebrate our New Year the way it is celebrated here in Moscow? And in America? On the whole, it’s very interesting to see your pictures and read your stories, which are certainly to be published on the site.

We are looking forward to your emails to [email protected] and [email protected]. Good Luck! Hope to see you in PRAVDA.Ru’s virtual chronicles.
