Russia is to repay $14.5b for its foreign debt in 2004 and $17.2bn in 2005, Russian Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin reported to journalists after today's government meeting devoted to the long-range financial plan for 2003 to 2005.

The total amount of Russia's debt payments amounts to $14.2bn in 2002.
