Arkhangelsk Region's Governor Goes to US to Look for Investors

Today, a delegation from the Arkhangelsk Region headed by Governor Anatoly Yefremov left for the US with a working visit. According to the region's Committee for International Connections, the purpose of the visit is establishing new contacts and finding investors in the region's economy.

According to Larisa Glazko, the head of the Department of Foreign Connections, the members of the delegation are expected to meet with American entrepreneurs, congressmen, and politicians. The programme of includes Governor's participation in the Golden Galaxy award ceremony. Mr. Yefremov has been nominated for this award by the government of Russia. It is intended for the heads of Russia's large industrial regions excelling in the social and economic development of their territories. The delegation was invited to the US by the American government.
