President Putin Signs Decree on Export of Diamonds
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree yesterday on the export of cut and uncut diamonds. A Rosbalt correspondent was informed of this by the president's press office. The decree anticipates the introduction of 5-year quotas on the export of diamonds.
Russian Minister of Finance Aleksei Kudrin said that this document would be a serious stimulus for stable, long-term cooperation between Russian diamond company ALROSA and its partners.
