Oil production drops in November

Oil production in Russia decreased by 10.2 percent to 32.74m tons in November 2002, compared to the corresponding period of last year, a source in the Russian government told RosBusinessConsulting. However oil production has increased by 8.9 percent to 346.151m tons since the beginning of 2002.

Oil production is planned to amount to 376m-378m tons this year. In 2001 some 348m tons of oil were produced in the country.
