Russian stock market opens with slight growth

The Russian stock market opened with a rise in the majority of securities today. A fall in US stock indices did not have a noticeable impact on the sentiments of traders in Russia. Rostelecom's stocks surged more than 2.5 percent and stocks of the national energy giant RAO UES were up 0.15 percent. Experts estimated the general atmosphere on the domestic stock market as optimistic, however, this was not enough for a confident upward tendency. Analysts forecasted that the majority of Russian stocks might rise a little today amid a rise in US stock futures.
