Gazprom shares to follow general market trend

The market of Gazprom shares is seriously dependent on the general stock market trend now, and all changes in prices are in line with the trends on the RTS or at MICEX. The present dynamics of Gazprom share prices can be characterized as a correction amid negative news from foreign markets. Traders voiced this opinion in an interview with RBC. If the existing forecasts for the situation on the world market prove correct, prices of Gazprom shares may start declining along with the Russian stock market in general. At the same time the conditions for Gazprom shares are unlikely to seriously deteriorate in the future compared to the present situation on the RTS. However, these conditions may change in the event that some extraordinary news reaches the market, for example, corporate news about the preliminary date of the liberalization of the regulations on deals on Gazprom shares. As long as there is no such information, the existing sideways trend will continue.
