The Russian holding Gazprom has taken a decision to cut supplies of natural gas to Ukraine effected by the ITERA group of companies. ITERA is an affiliate company of Gazprom.

RIA Novosti was told by the holding's press service that the decision had been taken in connection with the fact that ITERA had not managed to clear its debt to Gazprom this year for holding and transporting gas to Ukraine. According to the press service's information, this debt amounts to more than thirty million dollars.

ITERA told RIA Novosti that the debt would be paid off by the end of November.
