Russia's positive trade balance was $3.7bn in July 2002

The positive trade balance of Russia remained unchanged in July 2002 ascompared to the figure reported in June of this year: $3.694bn. However,this figure increased by $575m as compared to January 2002, according tothe data of the Russian foreign trade review published by the Foreign andPublic Relations Department of the Russian Central Bank. Foreign countriesaccount for the major part of the trade balance - $3.27bn, while Russiaexported to foreign countries products worth $3.37bn more than it imported.Russia's trade balance with the countries of the Commonwealth of theIndependent States (CIS) was $324m in February 2002..
