General Prosecutor's office files criminal case against LogoVAZ executives

The Russian General Prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal caseagainst LogoVAZ executives who organized the stealing of 2,333 carstotaling 60bn rubles in 1994 and 1995 (60m rubles in current prices),Vladimir Kolesnikov, deputy General Prosecutor, declared at a pressconference in Samara today. He pointed out that Boris Berezovsky and BadriPatarkatsishvili, adviser of the Georgian President, were directly involvedin this affair.According to Kolesnikov, "in the process of investigation of this case,very serious questions for Titov, governor of the Samara region, arose".
