All car makers of Volga Federal District will turn profit in 2002

All automobile companies of the Volga Federal District are finishing thisyear without losses, Presidential Special Envoy to the Volga FederalDistrict of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko said at a press conference in Moscowtoday. The official was quoted as saying it became possible owing toforeign investors' participation. Large strategic investors came tovirtually all industries of the district. Among the biggest investmentmarkets are housing and communal facilities in large cities as well as thetransport infrastructure. However, the concentration of investmentsaggravates the misbalance of regional development, Kiriyenko stressed. .
