Four Russian Companies Enter Listing of World's Top 500 Companies for First Time

Four Russian companies have entered the Financial Times' annual listing of the world's top 500 companies for the first time. In 227th place is YUKOS with a market capitalization of USD 18,743 billion; in 250th place is Gazprom (USD 17,359 billion); in 344th place is Surgutneftgaz (USD 13,158 billion) and in 362nd place is LUKoil (USD 12,526 billion).

The first three positions on the list belong to the American companies General Electric (USD 372,089 billion), Microsoft (USD 326,639 billion) and Exxon Mobil (USD 299,820 billion).
