Money Found In Pipeline

Australian Pipeline Trust (APT), a leading transporter of natural gas having interests in more than 7000 kilometers of pipeline infrastructure, reported a 20.8 per cent rise in net profit to $37.1 million.

It is continuing expansion of pipeline assets, primarily in Queensland, that helped the company to lift pipeline revenue by $6.6 million or 3.8 per cent to $180.4 million.

APT is going to supply gas in the southeast states from the Timor Sea and Papua New. APT’s dividends rose to 6.5 cents from 6.0 cents.

The total revenue also was up $6.1 million or 2.4% and reached the level of $255.4 million.
