Vneshtorgbank may participate in Ukraine's debt repayment

Vneshtorgbank, a bank that services Russia's foreign trade relations, maytake part in the debt repayment of Ukrainian oil and gas giant NaftogazUkrainy to Gazprom. In addition, Vneshtorgbank may participate in therestructuring of SIBUR debts, the Gazprom's press service reported today,referring to the meeting between Gazprom's CEO Alexey Miller andVneshtorgbank CEO Andrey Kostin.The head of Vneshtorgbank supported Gazprom's plan to restructure the debtof SIBUR petrochemical company. The sides stressed that debt settlementregulations regarding all creditors had been set already. Finally, theChief Executive Officers of Gazprom and Vneshtorgbank discussed possiblecredits for Gazprom's production programs.
