Customs agencies paid $1.63bn to federal budget in August

According to information from the State Customs Committee of Russia,customs agencies paid RUR51.64bn ($1.63bn) to the federal budget in August2002. Therefore, the plan for collection of customs duties specified by theRussian government was fulfilled by 105.9%.
