Kaunas bulk-carrier to be lifted from Neva waterway in late September

The operation aimed at removing the sunken Kaunas bulk-carrier from theNeva river waterway is expected to be completed in late September, PressSecretary of the Volga River Steamship Company Natalya Vinogradova reportedto RosBusinessConsulting. She was quoted as saying next week the entirecargo is expected to be lifted from the sunken ship. The amount of lossincurred to the steamship company was not disclosed.
