AvtoVAZ carmaker pushes up prices again

Today, the AvtoVAZ carmaker is leveling up prices for its products, thepress center of the company reported to RBC. This increase in prices, whichis the fifth since the beginning of this year, will concern almost all thecar models and will amount to RUR1,000 (about $31.67) for the Samara familyto RUR3,000 (about $95.01) for Vaz-2107. The growth will be 0.7 to 3percent. On average, car prices will gain 1.2 percent.The prices of VAZ-21053 and VAZ-2115 will gain RUR500 (about $15.84), andthe VAZ-2120 minivan will be RUR10,000 (about $316.71) more expensive. Theprice of VAZ-2105 and VAZ-2111 will not change. VAZ-2105 price will amountto RUR91,925 (about $2,911), the 'ten' family will cost starting withRUR166,500 (about $5.273). The Nadezhda minivan remains the most expensiveautomobile (RUR206,000 or $6,524) by AvtoVAZ.This price increase for AvtoVAZ cars is taking place under the pricing planfor 2002 adopted by the top management of the company at the beginning ofthe year.
