The monthly value ofthe consumer basket was RUR1,709 (around $54.25) in the second quarter of2002, including the minimal set of food products of RUR873 (around $27.71)(an increase of 4 percent from the figure reported in the first quarter ofthis year), the minimal set of non-food products - RUR412 (around $13.07)(up 3 percent), while the minimal set of services was posted at RUR424(around $13.46) (up 9 percent from the figure of the first quarter of thisyear).
