Duma official comments on Kaliningrad problem

Russian authorities cannot agree with the introduction of visa procedurefor citizens of the Kaliningrad region who want to visit other Russianregions, Dmitry Rogozin, head of the State Duma international affairscommittee and special Presidential representative for the Kaliningradregion, Russia's western enclave, declared during his visit to Berlin. Hestressed that the introduction of this procedure is "the line that Russiacannot cross".At the same time Rogozin, on behalf of Russian authorities, declared thatRussia was ready for "any procedure of control of trains on a 200 kilometerrailway in Lithuania".
