Gov't to consider preparation for 2002-2003 fall-winter season

At its meeting on August 27 the Russian government will consider the issueof preparing for 2002-2003 fall-winter season, the Government InformationDepartment reported. Russian Energy Minister Igor Yusufov and Chairman ofthe State Construction and Communal Facilities Committee Anvar Shamuzafarovwill report on this issue. Additionally, at a meeting of the Cabinet ofMinisters the results of the implementation of the federal budget for thefirst half of 2002, the amendments and changes to be made to thegovernment's decree on the measures aimed at implementing the federal law'On the Federal Budget for 2002', the draft of the environmental doctrineof Russia, additions to the second part of the Tax Code (Chapter 29, 'WaterTax') as well as amendments to other laws will be considered. The Cabinetof Ministers will also discuss a draft of the 2002-2006 federal program"The Children of Russia" and the issue of allocating funds for the RussianState Sports Committee from the reserve fund of the government..
