President Putin: Cooperation between Two Koreas Is in Russia's Interests

While speaking today at a meeting with Kim Chen Ir, the leader of North Korea, in Vladivostok, Vladimir Putin, Russia's President, said, 'Cooperation between the two Korean states is in the interests of Russia, so Russia will continue promoting this cooperation'.

According to the press service of Russia's head of state, Mr. Putin told the Korean leader about his meeting, today, with the leaders of the Far-Eastern regions of our country, where, among other things, the restoration of the trans-Korean railroad and connecting it to the Trans-Siberian railroad were discussed.
