Kasyanov comments on EXPO-2010

Russia and China discussed question concerning EXPO-2010, Russian PrimeMinster Mikhail Kasyanov told journalists in Beijing, where he is on anofficial visit. This question has been considered and there has been nosharpness during the discussion, the PM stressed. "Everybody understandsthat this is a prestigious event and Russia and China are contestants", headded pointing out that "at the beginning of this December we will getresults and, I hope, Russia will be satisfied with them".Earlier the head of the Russian government declared that the RussianExhibition Center in Moscow would be used for organizing EXPO-2010, in theevent Russia gets this right. According to the plan of the Center'sdevelopment, its reconstruction will be completely finished by 2008. Thearea of exhibition halls will be some 330,000 square meters. So the Centerwill become one of the world's largest exhibition complexes. .
