Moscow Oil Refinery restores its production volume

Today the Moscow Oil Refinery has started working at full capacity, Nikolay Frolov, head of the press service of the Moscow Oil Company, said in an interview with RBC. Transneft has restarted oil supplies to the refinery, totaling 20,000 tons per day. On August 8 this volume will be 30,000 tons of oil per day.

Alexey Peshkov, member of the board of directors of the Moscow Oil Refinery and vice president of the Moscow Oil Company, is currently the acting general director of the refinery. Sergey Demin, general director of the Moscow Oil Refinery, is on vacation now.

As it was reported earlier, on August 6 the company started processing only 7,000 tons of oil per day, while the production plan envisages the processing of 870,000 tons of oil this August.

The main shareholders of the Moscow Oil Refinery are Sibneft (37 percent of the shares), Tatneft (10 percent) and The Central Fuel Company (51 percent of the shares). At the same time the Central Fuel Company has a 50 percent stake in the Moscow Oil Company. The other 50 percent belong to Sibir Energy.
