SIBUR posts financial figures

According to Russian accounting standards, the undistributed loss of SIBUR amounted to 4.2bn rubles ($132m) in the period from January to September 2002. The company's operating income amounted to 101bn rubles ($3.17bn); sales proceeds were 6.5bn rubles ($204.5m) in the reported period.

The operating profit was 356m rubles ($11.2m) in the third quarter of this year, 130m rubles ($4.1m) in the second quarter. The undistributed loss in the third quarter was 1.7bn rubles ($53.5m).
