There are still forty-six fires in the Moscow region

Forty-six seats of fire in an area of 101 hectares have still remained in the Moscow region, reported the press service of the regional government. In the past twenty-four hours no new fires have appeared, and six have been extinguished. As was pointed out at the session of the Centre for Putting Out Fires in the Territory of the Moscow Region, the most difficult situation has still remained in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Pavlovo Posad and Shatura districts. The danger exists that fires may penetrate from the territory of the Tver and Vladimir regions.

As long as the threat of the appearance of new fires exists, visits to forests and to peatbogs will be banned. Yesterday, as many as 1,356 people and 994 cars were not allowed to enter forests, and 242 people were called to account administratively.
