Sybur And Lukoil Joint Venture

Sybur is currently returning one of its major assets,Lokosovskij GPK that earlier belonged to Sybur-Tyumen.

The Head of Sybur Dmitrij Mazepin and the President of Likoil Vagit Alekperov decided to create a joint venture on the basis of Lokosovskij GPK.

During the next month discussions on the details will be completed. But right now it is known that it will be 50/50 new company. The preliminary discussions are being brought to the end.

Sybur’s contribution to authorized capital will be the plant as a real estate, and Lukoil will pay out costs of the further plant’s reconstruction.

Sybur insists on $50mln contribution while Lukoil is ready to pay only $35mln.
