Automated Oil In Former Soviet Republic
“KazTransOil” plc implemented an automated multipurpose operational system R/3.
This system allows on-line operating financial flows in departments of the Central device and Eastern branch.
Before implementation of the system R/3 the company determined requirements to the control system of enterprise, made SWOT analysis and carried out the tender.
The tender was won by SAP AG (Germany), the leader in supplies of software equipment.
The trial period lasted from the April 2001 till January 2002. Now it is completed with excellent financial and operational results. Implementation of module F1-finances, CO-controlling, CD-selling, MM-management of materials allowed to improve and optimize process in the Central Device and Eastern branch.
Currently the working group prepares to implement R/3 in Aktyubinsk and Western branches of “KazTransOil” plc. The project is to be finished by 2003.
